Thank you April! Of course this is not a fashion of mine: the outfit is a mix and match. Coat, hat, bustier, boots and sword are from Mattel's pirate Barbie, underneath she's wearing Vanessa Fashion Explorer's lace t-shirt and undies and poppy parker's nylons! The masks are a gift my mother bought me last time she was in Venice. Kisses Billa
Thank you Linda! this is a picture I've been thinking about for a while, so it came out just as I expected. It is quite hard to pick up just one picture for the cover, it's teaching me how to work on the quality of the pictures! Kisses Billa
Hi Lisa, in fact I bought the pirate barbie for the doll, now named Olga (I love the Nichelle face sculpt) and I had the "bad surprise" that the outfit was sewn on. I was only able to save these pieces, then I figured they were great pieces for a sexy carnival outfit. And here we are! Thank you! Kisses Billa
Thank you Phyllis, Edda (Hot Property Natalia Fatale) is one of my favourite dolls for photosessions, it's nearly impossible to take a bad picture of her! Kisses Billa
Wow! I think I might want that coat in real life, though it wouldn't look as good on me.
That's a great layout, since the gold and the accessories imply she's a very successful pirate without resorting to obvious things like treasure chests. She is a successful SOPHISTICATED pirate with a palazzo in Venice.
Hi Smaller Places, I love how your mind works! you developed a great backstory for her: she could be the rebellious daughter of a famous venetian merchant! Kisses Billa
Wow! Great photo. She looks like a total bad a$$.
ReplyDeleteHi Muff, yes she is a total bad a$$! LOL
DeleteGorgeous cover, Billa. Tell me more about the gorgeous outfit she's wearing. Love the masks!
