Another Hairdo

The last two guys who got home are Enrico and Giacomo. I loved their screening, sculpt and hair colour but HATED their hairdos. In fact I decided to buy them only after I saw some pictures of them after restyling.

Take Giacomo, he has these gorgeous red hair and soft screening, but the original hairdo is....gastly.....


and how he is now, with a simple bob, he's soooo sweet!





Enrico had this awful oversized wave!!! Too ugly  to be looked at (IMHO)



now he looks just right, he has got something edwardian about him, right out of some Oscar Wilde play (I can picture him Bunburying in the country)





Well, my hairstyling is not perfect, but I'm really pleased!

PS. please IT, no more silly hairdos for guys.......

    Hi Billa, I wonder what they put in that hair, it looks like it could break off if you move it LOL. Both gentlemen look a lot more natural now, IT may overdo it with the hair-do's, but they sure know how to make a perfect guy face sculpt! I enjoyed Charlie Parker very much, great song choice! Hugs xx

      IT male guys are the best! I love the face scuplts, if they're going to unveil some new molds (besides the new body) this year I believe I'll HAVE to take them home....
      if they'll have manageable hairs......LOL

    What a difference a new hairdo can make! I especially love what you did with Giacomo's hair. He even looks younger now! I have both of these guys too, but haven't done anything with their hair yet -- now I am gonna have to see what I can do -- but probably after I finish the Gordon's house (which is almost done!)

      Thanks to some great hair artists who published they work on internet I saw the possibilities of these two guys. Giacomo now is perfect IMHO......
      I'm looking forward for the developements at the Gordon's (you did a great job so far!)

    Oh yes, Billa. They look sooooooo much better. Honestly, I've been turned off by some of the IT guys due to their hairstyles. But you did a great job restyling them!

    Your restyling is soooo much better. I don't know what IT was thinking. For what they charge for these dolls, they definitely deserve better hairdos.

      Thank you Vanessa! As my 4 years old nephew loved their original hairdo (he assisted me during restiling) I believe IT had a 4 years old target on their mind! LOL

    I'm always hesitant to change or customize a doll. It's strange, because I really don't anticipate reselling the dolls, but I guess I always have that in the back of my mind. However, it does seem more important to like the dolls more than to keep them "intact." :-) You did a great job with them, and they do look much better now.

      I Troy, I understand you as I usually buy a doll only if I'm 100% sure I'm liking it (thisi is the reason why I buy mostly on the secondary market, after seeing some real life pictures of the dolls and reviews). But s I bought the dolls with the full intention of redoing their hair I didn't give much thought about it. There are so few male dolls and these two had such a potential that I risked, and now I'm really pleased. I would never try this on one of the girls!!!
