Trying to revive his inspiration he has decided to take a trip to Dublin, on the tracks of J. Joyce's Ulysses.
Anyway he's going to enjoy a tour of the pubs.
Cecilia, who should know better, seized the moment and volunteered to accompany him, as a secretary. She's been eyeing Nicola since her arrival.
She thinks he's got the "tall dark stranger" looks. So she borrowed Ofelia tartan outfit an off they are!
Day One
First of all they pose for a picture with J. Joyce statue.
Then they head for the Writer's museum.
Then a visit to the Martello tower. Cecilia is bored already.
And Ormond Quay.
Nicola has been blabbering for hours, he's in a stream of consciousness mood and Cecilia wants to die.....
Day two
Nicola is stunned when they meet Giorgia in Grafton Street, he completely forgets about the stream of consciusness and dragging Cecilia with him invites Giorgia to join in.
Giorgia loves Joyce, so she enthusiastically agrees.
They visit the Phoenix Park
Sandy Mouth Strand
And the Castle. Nicola and Giorgia are getting along wonderfully!
Day three
Nicola has completely forgot to focus upon his inspiration and proposes a tour of the pubs! The Market
The Stag's Head
The Temple
The Quai
Nicola and Giorgia are definitely an item. Cecilia is very angry at me, but I don't believe she had any chance with Nicola, would she ever find Mr Right Guy?
Wow, that Nicola really gets around!!! And so there he is with 2 females!! The nerve! Cecilia should never have stuck around. In any case, everyone is beautifully dressed and the photos are as breath taking as ever!
ReplyDeleteAfter all he's "lady thriller Pierre Devires"! and he absolutely looks the part. Cecilia could not complain, she accepted a job as a secretary and she only hoped to catch Nicola's attention, maybe she'll have more luck next time!
DeleteI love your pictures. The fashions are gorgeous! Did you make them?
ReplyDeletePoor Cecilia. She looks miserable. I hope she finds her Mr Right.
thank you Georgia Girl! Yes I do all the outfits (unless otherwise stated in the posts). Cecilia felt miserable, but so fare we've found out she doesn't like amusement parks and that she's not an intellectual.....there's plenty of guys around here, she'll keep trying!
DeleteWhat a great trip; I thoroughly enjoyed it! Cecilia is steaming though.....she's missing out on precious Nicola time. Pop went her bubble! Oh well....it was SUPPOSED to be a working trip anyhow (right)
ReplyDeleteYou know, Cecilia is like that, she projects her own dream on some guy and then she's frustrated when reality comes in. She had her chance but she was not the right girl for him....poor thing
DeleteLoved the story and the pictures are fabulous! It's not Nicola's fault that Celia invited herself along. I do applaud her for giving it a shot. You never know until you try. It was evident they weren't a good match the minute she got bored. I wish Nicola well and hope that Celia will find Mr. Right soon.
ReplyDeleteThank you Vanessa. Cecilia keeps on trying, and I have a lot of fun writing little crazy stories for her.
DeleteI believe she will find Mr. Right One someday!
Forgot to mention how wonderful the outfits are, but you already knew that. lol.
ReplyDeleteLOL! I love how you posed Cecilia, she really looks bored first and so annoyed later! The outfits are beautiful, wow, as always a fantastic job done! Great photos, great dolls!!! xxx
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't really difficult, the Agnes sculpt always looks at least annoyed, I will have a hard time to photograph her when she'll be supposed to be happy!
DeleteThank you Linda!
Loved the pics! Dublin sure is a very beautiful place! But... if they are travelling alone, who is taking all the pictures? XD~
ReplyDeleteThe Ubiquitous All-knowing Author, of course! LOL
DeleteThank you Lady LoLo!
The outfits are stellar! Cecilia should have called it quits early on when she saw his interest wasn't geared her way at all.
ReplyDeleteThank you Muff! Cecilia will learn, with time....well, maybe, I think she's just like that, she doesn't admit defeat, or she's just a bit dumb....LOL
