Dressing up Agata....shopping in Paris

When Agata arrived home, some months ago, some of you made suggestions about her new wardrobe.
I thought many of them were just right for her, so I decided to do some redressing photosessions of her. And Paris is the only possible backdrop to start with!
Off she is for a shopping afternoon in "La Ville-Lumière". Agata is going to wear  a Chanel tailleur, as suggested by FDS. I did this some time ago for Egle, but wasn't really  satisfied. Then I learned to sew a decent hem with a sort of a flat stitch, and now it looks just right!
Of course this is a Lagerfeld design.

I think I need  new bag.....

Done!

deserved rest

This is just a warm up for Agata, I've decided she's going to model all my future Lagerfeld replicas!

  1. Hi Billa, the tailleur is beautiful on Agata! Your photos are again stunning, I don't know how you do it, so it's like magic for me, Agata seems to be really there, love that :-)!!! I do hope she didn't use your credit card at Chanel, looks like she had a very good time shopping there LOL. Great post!!! xx

  2. Agata looks great in the outfit. Looks like she had fun shopping in Paris. Just love how you mesh reality with fantasy. Hard to tell where one ends and the other begins. You are a talented photographer!

    1. Thank you Phyllis, yes she has but now I'll keep a close eye on her! I love meshing reality with fantasy, besides sewing, which is a great passion, it is the whole point about my doll collecting, a bit schizophrenic perhaps.....LOL

  5. I had to laugh when I saw this post while awaiting my flight to Paris on Monday night! My my, Agatha sure likes to travel first class all the way! She just missed one of my girls who was at that very same Chanel boutique not that long ago. Monica told me she thought she saw one of your girls going into the Ritz hotel. But she had no idea she had booked a suite there! Hope you're keeping track of your charge card because Agatha sure has expensive tastes!!!!! Great photos as usual!

    1. You know April how these things are, a true fashionista has got to try all the time. The problem with the girls is that they never find a nice millionare to pay their bills....LOL
next time I'm going to send her in the sahara desert, let's see if she finds something to buy there, but I fear she should come back with an hoard of camels: imagine THAT!
