A new soul: Pietrina

First of all, Happy 4th of July!!!

Fasten your seatbelts,  is going to be a bumpy night!

Last but not least of the super gorgeous girls from the Gloss Convention 2014 let me introduce you to Nocturnal Glow Veronique!

I admit it: I have a soft spot for thee new Veronique facemold, now that she's arrived home she's going to be called Pietrina.

You can see at a glance that this girl means business! And to convey this she doesn't  even need to have an expression like she's just bitten a lemon!

I really like this 70's collection, all the new girls are still in their original outfits. I'm just nervous because it looks like they are throwing a tipical 70's elegant party, and in my imagination a tipical 70's elegant party immediately spells "the towering inferno". You know, my girls are displayed in a crystal cabinet......

Going back to Pietrina, maybe is her colouring,  she reminded me of Romy Schneider, and so I've decided to match her with Sebastiano, they're to look like a million together!

To end june with a bang, I'm going to post some pictures of the three girls toghether next week!

    1. Hi Linda, disaster movies from the 70's are a guilty pleasure of mine.....
I have to take the pictures of the girls before I succumb to the temptation of redressing them!

  2. Congratulations on getting Pietrina; she is lovely.

70s movies are fun ;-) I still enjoy commercials from that time, too.

    1. That's why she's the only girl I could match with Sebastiano, she'll keep him in line!

  6. Billa, your new dolls are to die for! Pietrina is soooo beautiful as is the gorgeous gown she's wearing. Had I known about Fashion Royalty dolls and their incredible fashions, I probably would be a totally different type of doll collector. Thank you for sharing.

    1. Hi April, in spite of the wonderful fashions IT is able to pull off I still love the models "per se" and I LOVE sewing different outfits, and I can't keep them in a box or simply on display....they are too much fun to play with!
I always wait for real pictures (not promo) of the dolls before buying, hope I won't be disapointed by the new Erin and Tatyana I ventured to pre-order from IT......

    2. Billa, I first began to collect (Barbie Basics Black Label) to decorate the top of my chest of drawers in my bedroom. I thought it was the perfect thing after a long career in fashion. The black dresses they wore were well made, so I assumed I could find a few other nice fashions for them. Of course this did not happen. So when I returned to Paris, I just knew I could find beautiful clothes for them there. Au contraire! Of course, I didn't know anything about the Fashion Royalty line of dolls & fashions. I started making clothes because I couldn't find anything I liked. And all of this led to my blog! As you know, I have a great time making fashions for my crew. But knowing what I now know, I wonder what I'd be doing had I discovered the FR dolls prior to the blog. Would I still be making clothes and have my blog....or would I have been content to buy "decorations" and their ready made fashions!?! Oh well....there's no turning back, now. I have a doll addiction and the dolls are all addicted to latest trends in style! Big hugs. (P.S. My bedroom now looks as though I'm the intruder.)

    3. Same with my bedroom, now that I've also started small dioramas....imagine....
It was the same with me, first I made some barbie clothes for my niece then I bought a couple of Barbie Basics. With the purpose of starting sewing Barbie clothes as a passtime afterwork....
I switched to FR because of their lovely faces and pivotal bodies, I usually buy them naked to save money but with the latest releases I decided I could use some accessories.
Anyway I believe you would have sewn clothes for your girls anyway, it's too interesting and real fun
Besides, I'm SO HAPPY that you started your blog! It is a treasure trove!
