Off to Madagascar!!!!!!

Vacation time! Sasha and I will be off for a forthnight to Madagascar. We have planned  a nice tour of the northern part of the island:

We hope to see a lot of great landscapes, some wild nature, and take a plunge in the Indian Ocean!

It looks like we are not going to see any penguings thoug.

"You didn't see anything... Right?"

I'm  leaving you with a teaser of the tartan craze collection (I DID IT!  This is just a teaser: the complete collection counts 8 different outfits)

Armando's new mustaches:

This lovely kitchen my mom gave me for Easter (oven and fridge are missing, but I'm not into complete dioramas, you know, just settings, and this is perfect for the girl's needs):

The misterious "guy with no name", who  arrived yesterday:

Odette and Carlo are ready to go!

Sorry sweethearts, no outdoors adventures for IT dolls. You'll be added in postproduction, as usual!!!

I will see you all on the 24th of April!

  2. Oooo Billa, your tartan collection is wonderful. I love the mix of plaids and the guys wear them all so well. The new guy looks a lot like my college fashion drawing instructor. All madly in love with him, he gave us a reason to get to class on time!!! Lucky you, going on vacation. You have a good trip and don't worry about Carlo and Odette. While you're away...the dolls will play! (And if any little dolls come about, you can always send them over to Vanessa for clothes!) LOL!!! Bon voyage.

    1. Thank you April, can't wait to show you all the whole thing, this project really absorbed a lot of time but I'm really happy about it.
I came across an Ace Mcfly at half the price it is usually sold on e-bay, so I grabbed him, he arrived home so quickly I didn't have the time to figure out his name. I think he's going to be called Attilio or Eugenio, I'll know when I'll be back.
LOL, this is a good idea, now that Vanessa is sewing child clothes I'm more comfortable with all the "doll playing" that goes around here when I'm not watching!

  4. I'm so jealous! I can't wait to see the pictures. LOVE the new collection. So well done I can't wait to see the rest of it. Tell Odette and Carlos not to listen to April. No new little ones just yet. I haven't started on the infant collection, but hopefully it's coming. Have a wonderful trip!

    1. I'm going to make a special when I'll be back, to show at least some landscapes!
I'm glad you liked the teaser of the collection, this project was really engaging, I had so much fun I could hardly stop adding new outfits!
Ok I'm going to lock them in separate closets, even though I can trust Carlo on this subject, remember what happened the last time Odette tried a wedding dress on? LOL
I love the clothes you're sewing for the kiddies, so I look forward for the infant collection!
Thank you Vanessa, a big kiss!

    1. Hi Marta, now I have nearly as many boys as girls! I think I'm going to leave my kitchen pink, but I was thinking of embellishing it with some flower stickers (I envisioned a sort of a "flower power" kitchen) but first I have to find the place to display it!
